Built for the realities of the factory floor
Thingtrax was founded by engineers and technologists who’ve lived the challenges of manufacturing. From machine monitoring to full-line optimisation, our journey has always been about solving real problems with practical, scalable technology.
Thingtrax converts visual data into autonomous action, integrating seamlessly with existing systems and triggering physical responses that prevent waste, defects and mislabelling. Whether you’re a bakery, meat processor or ready-meal producer, Thingtrax adapts to your line, your products and your goals.
Our story
Inspired by their work with Kinect computer vision technology, founders Aman Gupta and Imran Shafqat set out to create a platform that would make factory data actionable.
Thingtrax began in 2015 at a Cisco and University College London accelerator. Today, we’re a full-stack vision AI platform helping producers automate inspection and reduce waste at scale.
Our team combines deep manufacturing backgrounds with enterprise software expertise and years of AI development experience – from the University of Oxford, Oracle, IBM, Microsoft and beyond. We’ve been in your shoes, and we’ve built a platform that works the way factories actually work.
